A German Westerwald salt glazed grey and cobalt ewer c.1900. Tall ribbed neck and two intersecting double rings. Embellished with heraldic badges and symbols. Westerwald pottery is from the area of Westerwaldkreis in the Rheinland. Salt glaze has a greyish white surface with a texture like an orange peel. From a private Los Angeles estate.
