Deacessioned by the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017, a set of five 18th century pewter plates with a bonus continental plate. Stamped marks.

  1. (1) 1740 Charger 20 1/4" diameter 1 1/2" height. Solder repair to edge. Weight 6.32lbs.
  2. (4) plates 8 3/4" diameter. Weight 3.21lbs. Three plates stamped "Cheapside London" with one Thomas Swanson of London plate.
  3. Set includes (1) 1790 continental pewter plate. Diameter 10 1/2". Weight 1:138. Stamped with fleur de lis and "V".
